Secondment from IASB/BIRA/BELSPO to European Space Agency

 

Controller in the ESA SCI-FE  PRODEX Office

 

Assigned tasks:

​

• Reorganization of the PRODEX DMS (Office and project levels)

• Contribute the automation of the Prodex financial report generation (Yellow Book).

 

 

Project / Management Support

​​​

• Contribute establishing additional  KPIs  in PRODEX processes and workflows

• Contribute establishing systematic trend charts for most important projects and key milestones in reporting

• Contribution to the implementation and monitoring of several projects as assigned by the head of office

• For selected projects, support management control activities especially:

• Control activities schedule and progress with respect to plans.

• Control costs of institute and industrial activities through the follow up of financial plans, commitments and payments.

• Contribute to the risk management through supporting the identification of risks, analysis of their impact and probability, as well as proposal of adequate mitigation actions.

• Provide inputs to the preparation of management reports for the above subjects.

• For the domains listed above, support the preparation of tender and contract change documents and prepare supporting information for subsequent contract negotiations.

• Support organization and participation in ESA reviews as an observer.

 

 

PRODEX ISO/9001 Quality Management System

​

• Develop a procedure to enable regular updates of the new PRODEX  website

• Consolidate the QMS procedure,  management tool and the  collaborative tool

• Optimise the document management  system and SCI-SharePoint: continuation of interface implementation

• Contribute to the optimisation of the PRODEX reviews approach, project documentation, documentation management and configuration control processes:

  • Update Industrial approach in the PRODEX PEAS in close collaboration with Head of Office and PRODEX contract Officer

  • (re)Analysis of project document package

  • Analyse the pertinence of creating some new PRODEX document/template in the Project Management domain
